The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) Board of Commissioners has granted accreditation to the Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of North Alabama for five years, extending to 2029.

The University of North Alabama is, once again, hosting the Mane Event, a thrilling two-day Esports tournament featuring Mario Kart 8, Rocket League, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The Mane Event is set for Friday and Saturday, Nov. 22-23 in the Guillot University Center on the UNA campus.
The University of North Alabama Percussion Ensemble has been selected to perform at the 2024 Percussive Arts Society International Convention that recently wrapped up in Indianapolis, Ind., at the Indianapolis Convention Center.
The band program at the University of North Alabama has received a resolution from the Alabama State Senate recognizing its 75th anniversary. The UNA Band also received a commendation from Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey recognizing the anniversary.
National First-Gen Day is an opportunity to raise awareness of the strengths of first-generation college students, faculty, and staff as well as a way to support, elevate, and increate the visibility of being first-generation on campus. The University of North Alabama will celebrate its first-generation community on Nov. 7 from 2-4 p.m. at Collier Library.
